Privacy Policy

kaopeh.ai has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no database of conversations. We do not store the messages you send or the replies you receive. Your conversation lives only in your browser tab. Close it or refresh, and it is gone — there is no copy on our side to delete, because none was made.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers, and we do not build a profile of you.

This is the part worth reading carefully. kaopeh.ai does not run its own AI model. To generate a reply, the contents of your conversation are sent to DeepSeek, a third-party AI provider, over an encrypted connection.

Once your message reaches DeepSeek, DeepSeek’s own privacy policy and terms govern what happens to it — not ours. At the time of writing, DeepSeek’s published policy allows submitted data to be used to train and improve their technology. We cannot make promises on their behalf, so we do not. If that matters to you, please read their policy before sharing anything you would not want processed by a third party.

Practically: treat kaopeh.ai as a place to let off steam, not a place to put passwords, financial details, medical records, or anything identifying about other people.

Your IP address. To stop scripts from draining the service, our server keeps a short in-memory count of requests per IP address over a rolling one-minute window. It is held in memory only, is not written to any database, and disappears as the window passes or whenever the server restarts.

Error logs. If the AI provider fails, we log the technical error so the service can be fixed. These logs record what went wrong, not what you wrote.

We use Vercel Analytics to see roughly how many people visit and which pages they land on. It measures page views and visitor counts. It does not receive your chat content, and we do not use it to identify individuals.

If you choose to leave a tip, that happens on Buy Me a Coffee, a separate service with its own privacy policy and payment processing. We never see or handle your card details. Tipping is entirely optional, and nothing about kaopeh.ai is withheld if you do not.

If a message suggests risk of self-harm, the service responds with crisis helpline numbers for Singapore and Malaysia. This is a fixed, automatic response in the reply text. It does not alert us, does not contact anyone on your behalf, and does not create a record.

kaopeh.ai is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and since we hold no accounts or stored conversations, there is nothing for us to look up or remove.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Continuing to use kaopeh.ai after a change means the updated policy applies.
