Terms of Service

kaopeh.ai is a free web app where you vent to an AI in one of two modes: Angel, which listens gently, or Devil, which complains along with you. There are no accounts and nothing is saved.

By using it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Replies are generated by an AI language model. They can be wrong, inconsistent, or unhelpful. Nothing kaopeh.ai says should be treated as advice from a qualified professional, and you should not rely on it to make decisions about your health, safety, finances, or legal position.

Venting is the entire point, so strong language, exaggeration and frustration are all fine. What is not fine:

• Asking for help planning anything illegal or intended to harm someone.
• Trying to bypass the service’s safety behaviour, including by framing a request as fiction, roleplay, or hypothetical.
• Using it as a general-purpose assistant. It is scope-locked to venting and will decline coding, homework, translation, and similar requests.
• Automated or scripted access, or anything intended to overload the service.
• Posting content about other identifiable people that is defamatory or intended to harass them.

The service may decline to engage with certain topics, and may redirect a conversation rather than answer it.

You keep whatever rights you have in what you write. Because nothing is stored, we do not retain, publish, or reuse your conversations.

The app can turn selected messages into a share card image at your request. If you choose to share that image, you are the one publishing it, and you are responsible for what it contains.

Your messages are sent to a third-party AI provider in order to generate replies — see the Privacy Policy for what that means.

kaopeh.ai is provided free and as-is, with no guarantee of uptime, availability, or continued existence. It may be changed, rate-limited, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Tips are voluntary gifts made through Buy Me a Coffee. They are not payment for a service, they unlock nothing, and they are non-refundable.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from reliance on anything it generates.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Continuing to use kaopeh.ai after a change means the updated terms apply.
